This project highlights a recent clinic launch for American CliniX, a physician-led wellness and beauty destination redefining what it means to live well, look vibrant, and age gracefully.

Starting from Scratch Without Looking Like It
American CliniX was opening a brand-new clinic in Bartlett, Illinois. Their team was working closely with a graphic designer on a new website and needed photography that could support the launch across every touchpoint – from the website and Google photos to marketing materials and social media.
They needed real photos of their space, their services, and most importantly, the doctors and founders behind the clinic. They understood that if they were asking patients to trust them with their health, that trust had to begin visually.

At a high level, they needed imagery that could:
- Replace stock photos with real, on-brand visuals
- Introduce providers in a warm, human way
- Visually explain services that aren’t always clear through text alone
- Show the space so patients knew what to expect
- Feel professional, polished, and aligned with a luxury wellness brand

Why Branding Photography Matters for Wellness Clinics
When we plan healthcare branding photography, we’re not thinking about aesthetics alone. We’re thinking about trust, clarity, professionalism, and emotional connection.
The providers at American CliniX are highly trained, deeply knowledgeable professionals, but they’re also a family-run business. It was important that they looked like the luxury service providers they are, without feeling stiff or intimidating.


Before the shoot, we worked directly with their web designers to understand exactly what the new site needed. That meant planning imagery of each provider, photographs of the space, and service-based images that could visually communicate treatments that aren’t always easy to understand through words alone.



Creating a Strategic Image Library for a Clinic Launch
For wellness clinics, photography isn’t just about looking pretty, it’s about building trust and familiarity with their patients, demonstrating expertise and professionalism, setting expectations for the space and services, and creating an emotional connection. However, we also value helping providers look their best by providing professional hair and makeup, posing guidance and flattering lighting and full retouching to make sure everyone looks their best.
On shoot day, everything was designed to feel intentional and seamless. My hair and makeup team, Jules Fleming Artistry, met us on-site to get everyone camera-ready, and we coordinated wardrobe in advance so colors and styles worked together across the entire image set.

We photographed the providers individually and as a group, including a series in the bright white lobby with the new clinic sign as a focal point – a strong visual anchor for brand recognition. We also created images of the providers in action, performing some of the clinic’s key services, alongside more traditional portraits in dress clothes that can be used across about pages, bio photos, advertising, and future promotions.

The final image library included:
- Individual and group provider portraits
- Lifestyle and candid interactions
- Service-based imagery showing providers at work
- Environmental photos of completed clinic spaces

Launching with Confidence
The final images gave American CliniX the ability to launch feeling cohesive, credible, and established from day one.
Shortly after the shoot, founder Janet shared:
“Thanks so very much for doing a wonderful job with our photo shoot!! You are so very talented and we are grateful to have found you. We look forward to seeing you again and to working with you for future photo needs such as our Grand Opening. I’ve sent the shots over to our team so they can begin to add some to our website and to our social media platforms.”
That response is exactly what we aim for — not just beautiful images, but a sense of ease and confidence moving forward.
