A Luxury Florist Branding Shoot in Barrington & Chicagoland
Valentine’s Day florals are everywhere in February.
But truly intentional floral design is rare.
This branding session with Promiti of Fleur & Form, a luxury florist based in Barrington and serving the greater Chicagoland area, was designed to show something different. Slower. More thoughtful. More elevated.
Rather than mass-produced bouquets or predictable designs, Fleur and Form creates arrangements that are unique both in their use of luxury blooms and one-of-a-kind design. Each arrangement was created with intention, premium materials, and a clear point of view.

Designing Florals That Feel Intentional, Not Mass-Produced
At the heart of Fleur & Form’s work is a commitment to pushing beyond traditional floral design. Promiti, the owner and creative force behind the brand, specializes in one-of-a-kind arrangements crafted with exotic, high-end floral elements you don’t see everywhere.
Her designs are never rushed, they are built slowly, thoughtfully, and seasonally.

For Valentine’s Day, Fleur & Form offered two distinct collections:
- A deep red rose arrangement, romantic and dramatic
- A white and mixed floral option featuring lilies and ranunculus, softened with subtle pops of yellow and purple
Each design was available as both a bouquet or a potted arrangement, finished with custom black wrapping, branded ribbon, and elevated vessels, and offered for delivery throughout Barrington and Chicagoland.

A Dark & Moody Editorial Approach to Floral Branding Photography
This shoot took place inside Fleur and Form’s Barrington studio, allowing the environment, tools, and creative process to become part of the story.
The visual direction was:
- Dark and moody
- Romantic and editorial
- Textural, layered, and cinematic
Rather than bright, airy product imagery, we leaned into shadow, contrast, and emotion consistent with Fleur and Form’s brand. Black wrapping paper, custom ribbon, and sculptural florals create a refined, editorial feel for the brand’s luxury positioning. Low ambient lighting and a matte editing style gave the images their modern, elegant look consistent with Fleur and Form’s style.

As a photographer specializing in branding photography for creatives, my goal is always to tell the full story:
- The maker
- The process
- The tools
- And the finished work
I absolutely love flowers, especially orchids and roses, and always have as many in my house and my garden as I can afford. I have loved Promiti’s style from the first time I saw it, and documenting the care she puts into creating her floral artwork as well as the finished product was an absolute pleasure.

Valentine’s Day Florals for People Who Want Something Different
This collection wasn’t created for everyone – and that’s exactly the point.
Fleur & Form designs for clients who:
- Want florals that feel artistic and personal
- Value premium blooms and thoughtful design
- Are looking for something beyond grocery-store roses
Each Valentine’s Day arrangement reflected not just romance, but intention. The kind of gift that feels considered, elevated, and meaningful.

Why Branding Photography Matters for Creative Businesses
For creative entrepreneurs, especially florists, branding photography isn’t just about pretty images. It’s about:
- Showing your process
- Communicating quality before a word is spoken
- Attracting clients who value what you do
This Valentine’s Day marketing refresh gave Fleur & Form a library of images they can use across:
- Seasonal campaigns
- Social media
- Website updates
- Email marketing
Images that don’t just show what they create, but how and why.

A Note for Creative Business Owners
If you’re a creative entrepreneur – florist, designer, artist, or maker – and your work is intentional, elevated, and deeply personal, your visuals should reflect that.
I specialize in branding photography for creatives who want:
- Editorial, story-driven imagery
- Photos that feel like them
- Visuals that elevate their brand and attract aligned clients
If you’re ready to refresh your brand visuals with intention, I’d love to work together.
