Where to Use Your Branding Images.

The most important thing about updating your imagery is to make sure you have every place of your online presence covered. And a couple of ideas of where to use your branding images are:

  • Use them to update your online profile images.
  • Take a couple to update your social media banner images.
  • Add those who reflect your brand personality to reflect your directory listing.
  • Use them to update your website.
  • Include them in your marketing materials.
  • Add them as your business’s materials.
  • Plan to use them on social media posts.

Let’s jump into details about each one and how to use it to move you a step closer to closing a business with your clients.

Update Your Profile Images

One of the first things you should consider is updating your online profiles to match your current brand imagery and personality. Your social media profiles on Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest, and X, as well as your professional tools such as LinkedIn and Zoom, should all reflect the same look and feel to achieve the brand’s consistency.

Another tip is to update your Gmail profile and email signature since almost every communication is now online; you want to take advantage of every opportunity that will bring you closer to nailing a sale.

If your niche is on other social media platforms, such as TikTok or Reddit, make sure to include them on the list as well.

Update Your Social Media Banner Images.

Did you know it takes about 3 seconds for people to form an impression of your business? We want to encourage clients to get the clear message we’re trying to transmit, so adding banner images that communicate your brand’s personality is ideal for increasing your credibility.

Make sure to update your social media banners on Facebook, LinkedIn, X, YouTube, and Pinterest. It goes without saying, but make sure that when you create your banners, they fit the dimensions of the platform without looking pixelated or blurry.

Directory listings.

We live in the era of networking and community, so adding your branding images to your online profiles, such as Yelp, Google My Business, Chamber of Commerce, Professional Directories, and Speaker Bios, can increase your reputation online.

Other directories include NextDoor and Alignable, where you can chat with potential clients and start conversations online.

Update Your Website.

Your Website is the most important place for your business because potential clients will look for your business online before jumping on a call or emailing you. So, after having your images, update the following places on your website:

  • Your main landing page: Growing your mailing list is the most important thing for an entrepreneur, so adding branding images to your landing page will help you increase your credibility and grow your list faster.
  • About Page: I love Simon Sinek’s famous quote: “People don’t buy what you do; they buy why you do it.” Adding images to your About Me page lets you tell people your side of the story and why you do what you do.
  • Contact Page: This is very important so people see your face before booking a call with you!
  • Your Lead Magnet thank you page.
  • Your Team Page is a chance for you to post one image that truly reflects who you are and your business.
  • Your Services page and your value proposal as a service or online provider.
  • Your blog home or blog posts page so people get to know you through your tips, experiences, and educational posts.
  • Your sales page and pop-ups will get you one step closer to gaining a client.

Marketing Materials

Remember to also update your images in all the marketing materials you use physically, such as business cards, guides, or pamphlets, so that people can remember you and your business. One of the tips I share with my clients during our consultation call is to use colors that express your personality and business. The point is to make an impression that lasts in your client’s minds!

Regular Social Media Posts

When it comes to your content strategy or pillars, putting yourself in different posts or reels helps you connect with your audience and get closer to making a sale. People love to buy from people, so when you showcase your face and get creative, you’re sure to attract more followers who will eventually become clients.

Now that you have the idea, the point is to show yourself as much as possible online to gain trust and credibility in your work. Remember that professional images are an investment that will return once you sign a contract with your dream client!

You can use this checklist no matter if you have professional images or cell phone images. When you are ready to take your images to the next level with a professional photo shoot, we will be happy to help you.
