Jani and Dannie’s wedding was not our typical wedding day, but I have to say that it was one of our favorites of the year!  With Jani’s family out of the country, they decided that their perfect day was a quiet day spent together.  We met up with Jani and Dannie at their beautiful loft space in Chicago’s West Loop where they got ready together (along with their two little puppies!).  We took some time for some photos on their rooftop and in the Loop, and then headed over to Alfred Caldwell Lilly Pond for a quiet, joyful ceremony.

Jani and Dannie are really wonderful together, and spending the afternoon with them was more like hanging out with old friends than working!  We just love how they make each other smile and care for each other, with natural and true affection alternating with unrestrained laughter.  It was a fun, joyful, perfect day, and we felt so lucky to be a part of it!  Thank you, Jani and Dannie, for inviting us to capture your absolutely perfect wedding day!
