Tracey has kind eyes – eyes that speak of a kind spirit, calmness, and a wisdom beyond her age.
Joe exudes spirit – he dances with abandon, and is not afraid to show those around him how much they mean to him.
On Saturday, April 30th, 2011, Tracey and Joe were married at the Alice Millar Chapel on the campus of Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois.
Tracey and the girls got ready at her Grandmother’s home in Evanston:
Tracey and Joe decided to do a “first look” before the ceremony. I just adore Joe for his reaction to seeing Tracey for the first time in her dress:
We popped outside to the courtyard to take some group shots before the ceremony. I love how serene Tracey and Joe look here while their bridal party is relaxed and happy.
When I came to the Chapel to scope out the setting, I just knew we had to do some portraits under this beautiful collonade.
The Alice Millar Chapel at Northwestern University is absolutely stunning, with gorgeous stained glass windows and dramatic lighting.
The flower girls were ADORABLE and obviously very tech-savvy. Somebody had the brilliant idea of downloading movies onto the iPad so that the kids had a distraction during wedding-day downtime. Brilliant.
The First Dance:
Congratulations, Tracey and Joe!
Great images – love the wide-angle church shot. What a great idea to keep the kids busy – iPad movies!
Your photos are beautiful. 🙂
