It is time for another edition of Engagement Session Style – What to Wear for your Engagement Session!  With the holidays fast approaching and a nip in the air, I thought it was time for a Winter Edition of our style series for those of you who have winter engagement sessions coming up.

At first I was a little worried about what to suggest for winter outfits, but my oh my, winter presents so many fun options!  With the weather a little colder, it’s only natural to add layers and accessories.  And more layers and accessories means more fun!  If there’s snow on the ground, you can either punch up your look with bright colors, or go soft and sleek with an all-white ensemble.  And there’s just something about the winter that suggests great shoes – whether we’re talking cute boots or killer heels.

Must-have Winter Engagement Outfit Items:

– A Cute Coat (or 2!)

– Great Accessories – go all out with a cute hat, gloves, scarves, etc.

– Shoes!!  Bring a pair of boots and a pair of heels.

– A killer dress.  Winter makes me think of holiday parties and amazing dresses.  Show it off!  Bring a killer dress to change into.

– A casual outfit with a comfy sweater – yep, it’s winter, let’s bring out those great sweaters!

– Jewelry/accessories – don’t forget your accessories for when we take off that coat, and a pretty clutch to match!

– A Statement Accessory or Prop – Let’s tell a story with a great winter accessory like a warm blanket, hot cocoa, etc.
