Once upon a time, starting big, crazy, things seemed easy. When I was in college, it only took me a few minutes to decide to fly off to a foreign country where I didn’t speak the language or know anything about the culture for a summer. I figured that as I got older, it wouldn’t be so easy to just fly off to South Korea. I hate to admit it, but I was right. Now, I agonize over budgets, worry about decisions, and opt for caution more often than I’d like.

Between the two of us, Kamran is the one who has not quite lost his willingness to leap.  He’s the one who pushes me to leave my comfort zone, to dream a little bigger, and to just begin, even if not everything is perfect yet.

And if there’s anything I’ve learned, it’s that the process of beginning is never-ending.

For me, right now, I’m digging up the inspiration to begin some little goals.  A healthier lifestyle, more energy, less weight, all things which I have struggled with in the past few years.    And, of course, I’m dreaming of more inspiration in front of my lens.  The next few months promise to be fun, and I can’t wait to share them with you.

So for now, let’s begin.
