A Foggy Photo Safari

FILED IN: personal

If you’re in Chicago you know the last two days have been totally foggy.  When we woke up yesterday morning, our normally expansive view of  rooftops, Lake Michigan and Navy Pier had completely disappeared behind a wall of fog.

Kamran saw this, and even before we had our morning coffee, was itching to take our cameras out.  I didn’t understand him at first because I don’t speak English before I have my coffee.  But eventually I figured out what he was saying, and we headed out like the intrepid explorers that we are.

Our normally sunny, beautiful, park was like a completely different world – mysterious, lonely, beautiful.  We loved it:

There were some brave joggers out, despite the dreary weather.  Go you, joggers!

See, here’s Kamran on our rooftop.  Can’t see nothin’:

BUT, here’s the good news.  I have EVIDENCE OF SPRING!  Yes, that is a bud!  Soon the world will be green and new again. Yay!
