When they met in 6th grade band, they had no idea what lay in store for them.  She played clarinet and he played trumpet, and things were good.  It wasn’t until college, when they were separated by most of a continent, that they realized how special their friendship was.  And so, navigating the challenges of distance, they made it work until Lizz could join Matt out in LA, where Matt would eventually propose right before Lizz’s birthday and their trip back to Chicago for the holidays.  Needless to say, everything else was forgotten in the excitement of this long-awaited announcement!

We were so happy to meet up with Lizz and Matt on a bright and sunny morning on their recent trip to Chicago for Nika and Brett’s wedding.  It’s so cool for us to get to see the close friendship of these two awesome women and to get to be a part of both of their wedding days.  We feel like members of the family!  Most of all, it was so fun for us to get to know Lizz and Matt after so many emails and phone calls.  We can’t wait for the wedding!
