As visual artists, a big part of our job is to see things differently.  To see the world and capture a moment, a perspective, an expression that communicates the essence of something bigger.  It’s an awesome job, but sometimes we need a little jolt, we need to actually see different things, so that we can come back and see differently.

This past week we had the opportunity to attend a photography conference in Portland, Oregon.  After two days of inspiration and ideas, we got to spend a wonderful weekend hanging out with old friends, exploring Portland, and, well, eating and drinking A Lot.  Portlanders are right to be proud of all of the creative and delicious food and beverage options their city possesses!

So, we’re glad to be home, energized and inspired, and looking forward to the good things yet to come!
