There’s a little bit of magic in those hours before one walks down the aisle.  A little shimmer in the air.  A million little moments lay before you, and yet, the one thing that really matters is that one person.  What is he thinking?  What is she doing?  What will he say?  How does she look?

Kamran and I are in love with the getting ready time.  The excitement, the anticipation, the nerves, the emotion, they build for a bit before being swept up in the momentum of the day.  For brides in particular, it is so raw, we feel like we get to see right into their hearts in those moments.

I think it’s so neat when couples reach out to each other with a little gift on their wedding day.  For a bride, you can communicate how much you love her  in those moments before you see each other for the first time.  That little gesture carries so much emotion and meaning.

Ok, maybe I’ve just become distracted with my birthday coming up, but I know that some guys might need some suggestions on what to get for their brides, so I started a little pinterest board.  (Ok, maybe not all of these are suggestions for our grooms, ahem ahem).  I also have a few ideas for what to get your groom, but really, I just want an excuse to buy those “In case you get cold feet” socks.  Too cute!!!
