When we saw that the temp was going to be almost 70 in early March, we jumped on the chance to do an urban shoot with Kelly, a gorgeous dancer in Chicago. We headed down to the West Loop to take advantage of all of the textures and colors that the area has to offer.
Not surprisingly, the wind was blowing like crazy on this unseasonably warm day. I love the way it picks up Kelly’s hair here and makes it look like flames.
When we were scouting for locations, Kamran saw this concrete wall and fell in love. Kelly’s fierceness and dynamism as a dancer really worked well with the texture to make this image pop.
Oh those eyes!
We found this little corner where the trains were driving by on their way in and out of the city. I kind of love the way Kelly’s hair adds a sens of wildness to these images.
