There is something so special about a backyard wedding.  As little girls, we grow up imagining our wedding – dressing up in our mom’s dresses and dancing in the yard.  To be married in that space, where our parents raised us, the place that our dads have tended and prepared just for this day, there’s nothing like it.  We were so honored to spend this past weekend in St. Joseph, Michigan, for a magical backyard wedding on the shore of Lake Michigan.  The tall trees, the beach, the sunset, the amazing families who were so kind and welcoming, it was truly a day that we will remember for years.
