Carli and Joe felt like friends from the first moment we met.  When I found out about Carli’s affection for Southwest Michigan and it’s beautiful vineyards, I just knew that we had to shoot their engagement photos at a winery.  Carli’s family has a history of traveling to Southwest Michigan, visiting the wineries, hanging out at the beach, and just enjoying the long days and warm water on the other side of Lake Michigan.  Going back their for engagement photos seemed like the perfect excuse to get away from Chicago, drink some wine, and test the waters for ourselves!

Carli and Joe are just the friendliest, most down-to-earth couple, and we felt like we had known them forever after just a few minutes.  Carli pulled out one cute outfit after another, and Joe made us all smile all evening.  We are absolutely counting the days until their wedding next spring!
