Holy Moly I am soooo excited to share this post with you!!  Robert and Maggie are ENGAGED!!!!!

Ok, let me step back a little bit.  Robert is my little brother (my 6-foot-2 little brother), and Maggie has basically been a member of our family since they met forever ago.  We have been quietly hoping that Rob would pop the question for, well, a while, and Kam and I were so excited when Rob let me know that he was thinking of doing it on our family vacation in Barbados last week.

I have to say, as a big sister, I was really touched that Rob let us be a part of the proposal, and Kam and I drove him nuts all week asking him when he was going to do it.  We didn’t think we could keep it a secret, but we managed to stay quiet until the last night.  We told Maggie that we wanted to do a photoshoot with her and Rob so that we could have beach photos that we could use on our website, and made sure that we all left the beach early enough to get ready before the sun set.  As the sun dipped towards the horizon, we walked across the beach and continued to act like we were shooting for our website.  We asked Maggie to take a few steps in front of Rob, and when she turned around, Rob was ready.

Rob and Maggie – Contratulations!  We are so super happy and excited for you.  Welcome to the family, Maggie!  I finally get a sister!  Yay!
