Today’s featured venue is actually located in Milwaukee, and is certainly one of the most unique venues we’ve ever shot at. The Pritzlaff Building is a historic building located near Milwaukee’s Third Ward. Constructed in 1875, the Pritzlaff was originally home to one of the midwest’s largest hardware companies and is now available as an awesome urban, industrial event space.
The Pritzlaff actually houses a few event spaces, and has two upper floors that are currently unoccupied raw space with lots of windows, brick walls, and cool-looking industrial stuff – i.e. a photographer’s playground. The two indoor event spaces are very different – one has towering brick walls and the other has beautiful arched windows and multiple columns throughout the space. The second space is sectioned off, so it may be a little more challenging to lay out, but it also has a giant walk-in safe. So basically, if you were wondering how to create an hip, urban, event in the midwest, the Pritzlaff is your place.
Oh, and might I add that Laura and Walt’s wedding also featured a brandy old-fashioned bar? If you are from Wisconsin, you know what I mean. I’m telling you, I have been daydreaming about those old-fashioneds ever since…
