They met in New York.  The City, the buildings, the history, the layers of past and present forming a backdrop for their own love story.  Because Robert, well he would pretty much do anything to make Dawn happy.  When she worries, he makes her laugh, when she dreams, he helps her make it happen, and when she loves, he sweeps her off her feet.  And when life opened a new chapter, with a new City and new stories, Dawn was in.

Welcome to Chicago, Dawn and Robert!

I also have to tell you this story, which is one of the best that I’ve heard in a long time.  Dawn and Robert will be getting married next summer at the Pritzlaff Building in Milwaukee, a fabulous, vintage, event space right in the heart of downtown.  As it turns out, Dawn’s grandparents actually met each other there when it was still a hardware store, up on the second floor, decades ago.  I can’t think of a more romantic coincidence!
