As the room buzzed around her, Amanda was calm. She was ready. She put her earrings on, and waited as mom helped her into her dress. Next her necklace, and finally her beloved boots. And just like that, it was time to go.
Brad was relaxed, ready to enjoy the day. He laughed with his guys as he waited for her to arrive, and didn’t seem to stop laughing the entire day.
And together, they seemed to create a place of calm within the storm. As the busy-ness of the day swirled around them, together they had a place where they could laugh, and relax, and just be. May it ever be so.
We so enjoyed Amanda and Brad’s wedding at Independence Grove. After their engagement session, we knew it would be fun, but we absolutely adored Amanda’s sense of style – from her boots to her dress, her grandfather’s vintage truck, and the gorgeous reception, we were in love. I also have to say that it was a particular pleasure to work with the supremely friendly and professional staff at Independence Grove. We were truly impressed.
