It kind of started as a joke. One of those jokes that, you know, contains a kernal of truth. “I’m the finder,” I would say at that inevitable moment during the day when Kamran would look for something and not be able to find it. You know, little things, like the salt shaker or the white out or the glass bowl with the lid. Kamran can never find them, but it generally takes me about 2 seconds.
And then the little kernal kind of grew. It’s not just little things, but bigger things, too. The truth is, Kamran is the dreamer. He has courage to have big ideas and to jump into making them happen. But I’m the practical one, the one who makes a plan and finds a way to do it. I’m the Finder.
We kind of balance each other out that way. Without him, I would rarely get past my doubts and my focus on the sheer number of steps I saw in front of me. Without me, Kamran would never be able to find the white out. 🙂
And sometimes, I help him find things he didn’t even know he was looking for…. like these:
Tee hee. Have a great day!
