Sarah knew Dave was a catch.  For years their paths had wound around each other.  As children they attended the same summer camp in Wisconsin, but never met until they both became counselors there.  Sarah went on to college in California and Dave stayed in the Midwest to study music at the University of Illinois.  But Sarah knew Dave was worth it, and one day, back in Chicago, they took a walk in Winnemac Park and decided to give it a try.

Dave and Sarah have since moved out to New York, but we went back to Winnemac Park on a recent trip to Chicago for their engagement session.  Seeing them together, I think Dave feels pretty lucky that Sarah knew what she wanted.  And I think Sarah must feel pretty lucky to have a guy who looks at her the way Dave does.
