Leah and Mike are a couple whose story just makes your heart leap out for them.  Leah and Mike actually met as children at the kinds of parties where parents bring their kids and childhood bonds and memories are made.  Leah and Mike never quite forgot each other, though and when the time was right they found each other again.

Leah and Mike actually married three years ago, but as Mike is an active member of the US Navy, they never had a formal wedding.  In fact, they have spent much of the last three years apart as Mike has traveled far and wide in his service.

On April 1st, they were finally able to celebrate their marriage with their friends and family, on the anniversary of their first wedding.  We were so honored to be a part of their day, one which really focused on what mattered in a marriage.

Leah and Mike were married at the Four Points Sheraton in Brown Deer, Wisconsin, and Leah’s gorgeous makeup was done by Natasha from Milwaukee Makeup & Hair Professionals.

I have to say, inspiration hit Kamran in Leah’s getting ready room.  This shot is all his.
