Everybody else seemed to know that Nikki and Tom should be together before they did. They were friends for years before they started dating, and they dated for years before Tom finally proposed. Even Tom’s grandmother was just waiting for him to propose to Nikki.
I met Nikki and Tom last month, and it is still one of my most memorable client meetings to date. Both of Tom and Nikki’s Moms came along to meet me, and the feelings of love and support surrounding the couple were overwhelming. I could really feel how there was an entire community behind them. I’ll admit that I was nervous when I first realized that not only was I there to meet a prospective couple, but that their mothers had come along to make sure everything was ok as well. But Nikki, Tom, and both of their Moms were so fun and good-humored that I too was excited for their wedding by the end of the night. Too bad I have to wait almost a year!
We did schedule an engagement shoot for April, though, so Nikki and Tom could prepare save-the-dates. We chose to do the Engagement photos downtown for the urban Chicago feel since their wedding will be out in the Beverly area. Just like in my first meeting, I and Kamran truly enjoyed working with Nikki and Tom. They’re fun and easy-going, and obviously just adore each other.
Thanks for the great day! Here are a few images:
